Erika Hancock is a mother, successful businesswoman, and State Representative in Kentucky’s 57th District.
It’s time for me to transition from my supportive role in the community to a leadership role. I feel compelled to give back to the community that has given so much to me and my family.

Hancock graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in integrated strategic communications. She quickly became one of the youngest female State Farm agents, taking over Sallye Hill Stumbo’s office in 2001.
She has served on community boards, including the United Way, Sunshine Center, and the Site-Based Decision-Making Council for Bondurant Middle School, and contributed to the finance committee at First United Methodist Church.
Erika Hancock is a mom of two: her daughter, Paulie, and her son, Houston. She has lived in Frankfort for more than 20 years and has spent that time building a successful business. Since January 2025, she has represented the people of the 57th District.

Erika serves on the following committees: Elections, Constitutional Amendments & Intergovernmental Affairs, Natural Resources & Energy, State Government, Sub-committee on Personnel, Public Retirement, & Finance, Banking & Insurance and Tobacco Settlement Agreement Fund Oversight Committee.
